NorthStar Express, a dynamic third party logistics company that specializes in tradeshow and convention shipping, is currently looking for an Account Manager to work with our growing Sales Team in our Falls Church, VA headquarters.  NorthStar Express has a need for high energy individuals that have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, sense of humor, and a results-oriented personality.

Responsibilities of the Account Manager include:

• Managing existing customer expectations and growing customer relationships to ensure premium service value.
• Acquire new business and grow revenues from our existing client base.
• Initiate the customer service experience by analyzing customer requirements.  Proactive and reactive telephone calls to & from the customer base.
• Present products and services to existing clients through face to face demonstrations and phone-based consultations;
• Close sales by building rapport with potential clients, explaining product and service capabilities, and overcoming objections;
• Expand sales revenue from existing clients by introducing new products and services;
• Working closely with the Sales Team to maintain and grow the customer base

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree but experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Have prior experience in inside sales and/or account management.
• Be comfortable and willing to talk extensively on the telephone to conduct business.
• Be comfortable and willing to work face to face with customers to conduct business.
• Have a can-do attitude and be highly motivated.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
