Shipping can be a challenging experience. Following these few basic steps will ensure your show is a success. By following these simple guidelines you can help NorthStar pick up & deliver your shipment on time, undamaged and ready to market.

- Complete your outbound & return shipping orders at the same time
- Always label and number each piece whether it is shipping as an individual piece or consolidated on a pallet.
- Contingency Planning. If you attend back-to-back shows requiring the same materials, have an alternate plan should there be a delay caused by weather, show-site slowdowns or a catastrophe.
- Pack your materials with care. Monitors and fragile equipment should be packed in specially made containers. Graphics should be wrapped and shipped in rigid material.
- Provide accurate dimensions on all material. Oversized material may be delayed unless NorthStar is notified prior to pick-up.
- Provide accurate contact information. Include name, telephone number and extension or cell number. If your material is going to a show, provide a contact and phone number at the show-site in case there is a delay.
- Make certain your shipment is properly covered by your business property insurance while in transit or at show-site. If you need cargo coverage, NorthStar Express can arrange cargo coverage.
- Type the information on your international documents.
- Provide an accurate piece count along with a color description.
- Turn in the decorators Material Handling Agreement form to the decorator's service center as soon as you have packed your material at the show
- Provide accurate times and dates for move-in and move-out.
- Send pre-show marketing material to your target audience noting your assigned booth number.
